sickness and the l word. not so unrelated.

so. i'm sick, and yeah it's shitty and all, but the bright side? i most definately skipped my classes and downloaded last night's season 4 premiere of the L Word (being in canada, we won't get television rights to it until this fall -- regardless of the fact it's fucking SHOT here... stupid fucking showtime.) anyway, the ep's titled "Legend in the Making". if the legend they're trying to make is how much they can fuck up a show that started out so well, then it's definately working.

anyway. so yes, i've definately got a few thoughts on what all went down...

let's break it down by character, shall we?
shane- she better treat that kid right or she can crawl right back into the ocean
alice- cute and kind as always :) love her
helena- fucking gorgeous, should be interesting to see her broke this season
ALICE AND HELENA? fuck yeah, living together. they're so cute.
bette- well at least she had the sense to come back
tina- i'm not even touching that shit
straight dude tina's dating- i know his name's henry, but he can die
jenny- i love her, always have
claude- i live in canada and i love me some french girls
marina- is it me, or has she aged a LOT???
JENNY/CLAUDE/MARINA? HOT. why is jenny wearing such a fugly dress??? WHY??max- he should drive off a cliff with henry boy
kit- bad mamajama.. emphasis on the "ma-ma" part of that
angus- meh. whatever. get a shave, hippy.

then there's:
dana/carmen/lara: i'll miss them all. especially my soup chef. all i'll really miss from last season is the alice/lara incestuous shared-reeling-emotions type affair. i loved it. OH and uta. my god. she realllly needs to come back. she is my ultimate sexy.


now i've read most of the spoilers and i know all the new characters (as anyone would if they've seen the promo photos) but nontheless here are my IDEAL (not predicted) hookups:

alice/helena: i've wanted to see them together since the beginning of last season when helena was taking care of alice during her addiction.

jenny/uta: as long as it's not the moira/max special, i have no qualms whatsoever about who my girl hooks up with, and i like her with claude... but jenny's a self-mutilator and uta's a vampire... match made in heaven, anyone? and it would be HOT. H-O-T, HOT.
hell, how about jenny/claude/uta? mmm. fuck yeah.

bette/tina: i know i know, and i def have a huge hate on for tina too (see below pairing), but think about the little girl. besides, these two were made for one another.

tina/me: ya, i'd hit it. with a sledgehammer. til it stopped being straight.

shane/cherie: i don't think shane can redeem herself in my eyes at this point... (well, maybe once kristianna shows up.. mmm.) so i think after all that's happened, ms. jaffe/peroni can have her "little freak".

and who am i looking forward to meeting the most?

papi!!!!! she's bringing sexy back.

that's about all i've got. but as a side note, i gotta say, i love all the canadian actresses that get a shot on this show. it's wicked. i should get to van city so i can break onto the set and.... um. well, pick up some canadian actresses... yeah
